Jacky recently joined HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) as Chief Digital and Information Officer, and was previously employed by Microsoft Corporation as Corporate Vice-President, Core Platform Engineering. Jacky is well known in the industry as a senior executive who is a transformational global leader and innovative technologist. She is passionate about the impact innovation can have in truly transforming services for people and businesses in a positive way and is a proud advocate for diversity and the representation of women and Black, Asian and Other Minority Ethnic Groups in technology.

  • Developing automation solutions that reduce customer enquiry processing time by 40% lowered costs by 80 per cent
  • Building a live service support team to manage the infrastructure and oversee the steps we take for any changes that we make
  • Ensuring that the robotic interaction with HMRC’s core system don’t impact robotic functions
  • Aiming for more than 10,300 staff to be using automated tasks by 2018, and moving 350 employees out of clerical roles and into customer-facing positions
